I leaned heavy into red for this one and used the colour exclusively for this piece. Red for danger, intensity, desire. It fits their whole energy. Gotham behind them is sharp but muted so all the focus stays on the two characters. The shadows and light across Batman’s armour and Selina’s face give it some edge. Her expression says it all. She’s a badass, but she has got a soft side too. That quote she drops, “I have a thing about strays,” says way more than it seems. Meanwhile batman breaks the fourth wall, with an intense, soft, almost sarcastic stare. She makes him nervous, she breaks his composure, she makes him feel.
